Space vector pulse width modulation strategy for modular multilevel converters in power system

چکیده
As a superior modulation strategy, space vector pulse width (SVPWM) provides redundant voltage vectors and adjustable action time, which can achieve multi-objective control of modular multilevel converter (MMC). An SVPWM strategy suitable for MMC is proposed. The divided into three stages. In the first stage, appropriate vector, time basic sub-module (SM) input number are quickly calculated to ensure output quality by equating as 2-level inverter. second finite set circulating current suppression established on basis SM number. optimal selected through rolling optimisation. last according sorting number, switching state determined realise balance control. proposed simplifies design system, reduces computational burden be easily extended with any simulation experimental results show that reduce capacitor while ensuring quality.
